Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

This review is based on actual use of xbox one s, xbox one x, ps4 slim and ps4 pro. I will say this, in the younger segment, ps4 slim definitely outperforms xbox one s. It is compact, more powerful, noticeably superior in graphics quality and optimization. But in the older segment, xbox one x is definitely better than ps 4 pro. Against the background of X, the proshka seems to be some kind of rudiment, inferior both in graphics quality and multimedia capabilities, and in general in everything. Take the same sound quality, it's even better on xbox one s than on a firmware. Moreover, now the price has been raised to 34k, and with such a price tag it is better to immediately look in the direction of boxing. To justify the firmware, we can only say that it is still a Sony and you can play exclusives on it. If they are of interest to you, then you need to take a plug. If you just want a universal powerful combine for a 4k TV, you definitely need to take a box. I took it specifically for exclusives, and I knew in advance about all the pros / cons. But if you are choosing your first console, look carefully at what exactly you are interested in.

Pros

- Convenient menu, everything is simple and clear, in its place; - Improved, in comparison with the basic version, graphics (but xbox one x it is inferior); - Support for 4k content (patched games and streaming video); - In general, Sony has a cool gamepad with interesting functions (which, however, are rarely used in games); - Exclusive Sony games are quite interesting (but only a few); - Excellent optimization of the menu and games, there is practically nothing to complain about, lags and problems are the smallest possible minimum; - The second revision has a low noise level; - There is a white color (I took one), it looks interesting.

Cons

- The increase in graphics in comparison with the basic version is not impressive. It doesn't have that wow effect that I got when I switched from xbox one s to x; - Inconvenient Sony store. No matter what anyone says about the competitor’s store (xbox), everything is clear, modern and convenient there, I couldn’t get used to it even in a month; - Multiplatform games on Sony are more expensive than on boxing, sometimes 2-3 times, even at discounts; - Rudimentary multimedia features. Watch movies in 4k from a usb-disk or locally (via a player), don't even try, it only reads . mp4, you still need to be able to find 4k in this format; - Compared to xbox one s / x consoles, the sound is not pleasing. Few settings, inferior in quality; - Large overall dimensions. Especially when you put your native gamepad next to it, the dimensions of the firmware are impressive; Nagging: the quality of the packaging is just trash, the box fell apart while I was checking the console in the store, the build quality is also not very good, there are squeaks and squeaks of plastic.
