Much harder than the brand name

My kids talked me into buying these to try and get my dog to stop barking. No, don't shoot the dog - shoot the front door when the dog flies out the door with his crazy barking 24/7. It was a last ditch attempt to control the incessant barking. I bought a Nerf gun and got these as spare darts. They are similar to Nerf darts but the tip is much harder than the branded darts. Not rock hard, but hard enough. I won't use them to shoot the front door because I'm afraid they could hurt if they accidentally hit a person or dog. Spend a few bucks more and get the Nerf brand. You will not regret it. Oh yes, and about the dog. No, shots on the front door didn't help. (Okay, I've only tried this a few times.) The tutorial didn't work. The vibration collar did not work. The treats didn't work. The citronella collar didn't work. You can't put her in a cage. So does the jet bottle, clap your hands, shake the can with a penny in it, call them by their names decisively or pick them up at the front door to get them out of the situation. Conclusion: The orange tips of these darts are too hard for children. . The Nerf brand is very soft and jumpy - they are much harder and can be dangerous. Nerf darts hit the front door with a soft clang and fall to the ground. They hit the front door with a much more audible "bang” and bounce off.
