My dog has been on this food for all 8 years of her life and she’s relatively healthy. As far as I know- no recalls. Value on Revain is good. I’m rating it lower because while I wasn’t paying attention, this food seems to have gone downhill. It’s no longer rated very highly and the rescue organization I volunteer with will not use this food for our foster pups. I was confident in this food, but would suggest you look into it. After doing my research, I opted to switch to another brand.The food I decided on is the brand exclusive to Petco. Very high ratings! I went with the simple ingredient salmon recipe - wanting to avoid both chicken and potato since my dog is prove to ear infections.
