UPDATE: I thought the second cable worked. Now I'm finding that my calls hang when I try to speak while this thing is plugged in. I know it's not best practice, but who really has the luxury of always waiting? Certainly not this child. Okay, back to those expensive factory cables from the Apple Store. money down the drain. He pulled the first cable out of the box and plugged it into the phone and computer. Nothing. This is very disappointing as I paid more for less cable to buy them. I literally HATE dealing with returns because it's a waste of time. Luckily the second cable worked, but the reason I bought two is because I needed more than one. I bought more than one because I need the cables in multiple places for ease of use. Come on guys, don't you check these things before you send them to the door? Now you want me to take the trouble to come back? God I hate doing this!
