Used once. Leather will soften when wet from normal workplace sweating, which provides no support for removing cut tape. The metal retaining clip has a thin stamped shape with a thin section at the top and is bent into an "L" shape at the bottom. This construction results in the tape clip not springing from below first, but only after the forced snapping into place. causes the clamp to hang, requiring additional pulling and twisting to loosen. A similar looking product could work if the clip bail was solid, thick metal and the leather was tough, hard, like the leather of a shoe sole. I do not recommend this particular product.
