Review on DNJ VC812G Grommets 2002 2006 Quattro by Coby Hall

I did not originally write a review for this product. Bought as one of the parts to be replaced on my 2006 Audi A4 3.0 Cabriolet when changing the timing belt. They fit perfectly and initially eliminated small oil leaks on the valve cover around the bolts. Over time, I noticed the smell of burnt oil in the car's cabin. Eventually, the smell was bothersome enough to haunt him. My Audi mechanic noticed that the oil was leaking from the valve cover and recommended that I tighten the cover bolts a bit more first. If that doesn't help, replace the valve cover gasket. When I got to this valve cover gasket, it was clearly the source of the problem. It wasn't brittle yet, but fully cured in just over two years and 7,000 miles. In these two years I have learned a lot about my Audi. When applying seals I would choose Victor Reinz or Felpro as a first choice.
