I have a large dog that doesn't want to be in the car. The guide "seat belts" they make is fine, but I wanted something that would give it a little more wiggle room for longer rides. I saw this and thought it would work. I tried it and it was the perfect solution. My dog has the entire back seat and poses no safety risk to me if he tries to sit in the front seat. The only thing I had to do was add more glue to the "holders" that the mesh is attached to. (He is a large dog +/- 100 pounds). I think it's good that the net can be stowed in the trunk and the "holder" is hardly visible in the car. It can be reset quickly. I am very happy with this purchase.
