I bought the Children's Place Mesh Performance Casual Basketball Shorts for my active 9 year old son and they are a hit with him. These shorts come in a two pack in black and charcoal, making them a versatile addition to his wardrobe. Mesh fabric is lightweight, breathable and comfortable for everyday wear. An elastic waistband with an adjustable drawcord ensures a secure fit during exercise. The shorts are just above the knee which my son finds perfect for running and jumping. He also likes the deep pockets on both sides where you can put your phone and other small essentials. The only reason I didn't give these shorts a perfect 5 stars is that they wrinkle easily after washing. However, this is a small issue compared to all the other features these shorts offer.
