Couldn't hold a 200 lb person
Sorry. I weigh 197 pounds and tonight on first use it fell off my rear end. To be honest, the product is very durable, but I did not manage to install it directly on the transom. If you can find a way to use heavy bolts or whatever to mount it then you'll be fine. If you have any questions about my assembly process, please feel free to contact me. I am glad to help. I gave it 2 stars because it's a really good and solid ladder if you can assemble it properly.
