These are really good filters but the screen is not as fine as I need it to be. I need something to strain out the big chunks that are left over from crushing very hard seeds. Unfortunately, these filters let most of the harder particles through. I keep searching until I find what I need. So if you just want a really great set of colanders for everyday use in the kitchen I have no hesitation in recommending them. However, if you need something to filter out really small bits, I would recommend looking into a dedicated strainer or colander for this purpose.
