I used these chair covers as protection for my upholstered dining chairs for a party. I learned the hard way that my expensive dining chair upholstery is unforgiving and impossible to clean. My dining room largely existed as a space to hold very pretty furniture that no one has been allowed to use. I love when I find a solution that works for my needs exactly.While the chair covers arent perfect, which I really wasn't expected, they really did keep my chair upholstery clean and looked nice. I did notice that some of the covered were much harder to get on my chairs than others. I have come to the conclusion that they are not all exactly the same size.My dining chairs are large - larger than your average dining chair. I really had to work hard to get the covers to stretch over the seat of my chairs. The elastic band at the bottom required me pulling the elastic by hand prior to installation. Ideally, I think these would work best on medium size dining chairs.I ended up leaving them on after the party and noticed that after people sat on the chairs, the seat covers look even better as they naturally stretched out.
