Have been using for over 25 years. When my hair was shorter it wasn't necessary, but my wife likes a little wavy length on top of her head so I have to deal with that somehow. Brylcreem isn't perfect, but I haven't found anything better for the price. Recently bought from Amazon due to lack of local stock. I've tried other cleansing gels and cleansers, but they were all too sticky, required special application, didn't rinse well, smelled like drugs or cologne, were too expensive, or caused an itchy scalp. Brylcreem contains mineral oil so take this into account when determining the amount to use. I have an undercut hairstyle and use about a teaspoon (5ml) or "swab" as directed to deal with a top that is half an inch to 4 inches. Apply to towel-dried hair with fingers. Comb through with a wide-toothed comb and you're done. Easy. Hair dries naturally, doesn't look wet. Holds and stays soft all day in the office. Washable with a shampoo. I save money and time in the shower by not using conditioner due to Brylcreem conditions.
