Review on Buf Puf Reusable All Purpose Facial Sponge by Stan Myers

For years I've been using an expensive alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) to exfoliate my middle-aged, breakout-prone skin. I didn't like it because it was a sticky gel (can't use lotions due to breakouts); If I applied the gel too close to the hairline it would cause breakage (like a bad perm); and I didn't really get the results I wanted. It worked, but I didn't get the gentle, effective exfoliation I wanted. I stopped using it a few times but after a few days I saw a worse difference in my skin tone and texture. Let's go on a business trip. I forgot to pack the AHA, so I used a clean washcloth to mechanically exfoliate for a few days as a backup. I had such good results with this old-fashioned method that I remembered how much I had relied on buff-puffs during my acne-prone youth. I found her at Revain and was blown away. For real. I am getting MUCH better results with the daily mechanical exfoliation I get with this product than with the chemical exfoliation I get with AHAs. My skin tone and texture have improved greatly, and I don't miss nights of sticky, hair-breaking gel on my face. (Understatement!)
