I bought this diamond painting after carefully studying its selection. I loved the overall finished look of this painting and would really like to see it hanging in my house every day unlike 99.5% of the other paintings I have found. I had no preference for square or round drills; it has round drills. The canvas flattened out enough on its own without my doing anything to it and it's easy to work with. The canvas is very sticky and I have no problem moving the drill bits. I'm pretty good at clicking each of them based on my research. The key is clear to me and I feel easy to read; However, I crochet and cross regularly, so I'm used to reading charts and looking at the little things for a long time. Someone who is not used to this might find some of the characters a bit difficult to read. I find her drawings far enough apart in color and symbols that everything is fine. After doing some research, I was able to work on the painting almost immediately after unboxing it. You can use the tools provided (pen, wax, shaker tray) to complete it. However, I also bought a tool kit and took the time to arrange the drills in the tool kit containers. I wouldn't recommend using the drill bits from the packaging they come in as there isn't a good way to seal them and I'm glad I bought the tool set with cases. Overall I really like this set. I've looked at much more expensive sets and have a feeling this one looks like it costs more than it actually is.
