Review on USKEYVISION Microphone Extension Compatible Photography by Mark Cannon

I was very impressed with the build quality and reliability of the cold shoe mount. The taper on the lock nut really helps it stay in place and not open up despite having a hole on one side of the clamp. I wish I had a mic to test with, but got this clip to hold one of my large video lights with a Sony NPF-550 battery to light some scenes. Once that suction cup is tightened on the iSteady X, it's not going anywhere, and that's really all you could ask for. Haven't tried it yet but I think I could find a small rig that could replace one of the cold shoes as they both attach with two small screws.
