Shank to Short for Chevy 3/4 ton

First I am a huge fan of Curt products. The reason I went with Curt was to find options for antiquated chain supported weight distribution hitch designs.OK.Purchased this item for a stock Chevy 2015 2500HD. Revain recommended this product specifically for the 2015 2500HD. The receiver shank that arrived with the 17500 TruTrack was 5&#34; short for the 2017 Jayco trailer it was to mate to. Called Curt to make sure I was assembling the hitch assembly correctly and they said the 2500 HD was to high. The unit was designed for Subaru Brats on up. Ouch. If you purchase this item and drive a Chevy 3/4 ton be ready to fork our another $80 to $100 for a receiver hitch shank part Curt #17121.
