It glides smoothly through hair, is wide enough to cover either a narrower mustache width or a wider jawbone, and the "thin" profile is more precise to use than a longer-toothed comb. One of those purchases that immediately feels "right”. "that you want to buy another one just to have it. If something happened to this one, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. You almost never want to use another comb.
