Review on πŸ’ Kenra Curl Defining Cream 3 - Achieve Perfect Curls with 4 Ounces of Moisturizing Elixir by Mary Marie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great waves, less fluffiness, bad smell.

First of all I won't say I've used all the products and this one is *the best* because it just isn't true. To be honest I'm not very experienced with curl creams or hair products in general. I like to keep my routine pretty low key. My hair isn't overly demanding, but I also notice how frizzy it is, and could I do it a little better? So here at Revain I was looking for something not very expensive and I have to agree with the reviews. This product tames my curls and straightens my hair beautifully and my 2c fine waves look well defined and not greasy or crunchy. It may be my imagination, but I feel like I have to wash my hair a day earlier than usual when using this product. It doesn't break the deal, but it's a little annoying. I had a pretty reliable schedule of washing my hair twice a week, which kept it healthy and not too dry. Let's see how time flies. It could also just be my hair, but I feel like the waves don't last very long. That said, it's not a hold product, so I'm not quite expecting it, but some reviewers seem to have had the opposite experience. Every hair behaves differently. It takes a pump of product on my hair almost to the strap of my bra. All of this goes to show that I absolutely hate the scent they used. It's an incredibly synthetic sweet candy smell. It should be designed to appeal to young children, it's so cute and smells cheap if that makes sense. If you are sensitive to smells or don't like sweet smells, this product may not be for you. Eventually, after a day, the smell on the hair will become much softer, but who needs that? You should just leave it unscented if you don't want to pay for a nicer scent. But after all this I will still use it because I love what it does!
