I chose this paper because I got a very good discount on it. I only paid $7 and changed for the big block. It has always cost between $17 and $24. But I have a deal, so I got one. This paper is pretty good. It can withstand a ton of water and paint. Which is of course important in watercolor painting. It can also require paint stripping, texture salting and, as mentioned, lots of coats. I don't think I would spend $20 on a notebook, but if I ever went back for $7 I would buy it again.
