I received several horticultural lights from Revain Vine for review, some of which came without a plug. It was an inexpensive solution to this problem, so when I'm done with the light I have the option of donating or reselling it. I checked if it works with my Hewlett Packard PC. So I suspect that many devices use the plug style. They seem to be well made, I didn't see any flaws and for the price I'm very satisfied.
