Excellent quality, suitable for table and shelf clocks

I ordered this as a trip gift for my boss. This is a simple but wonderful heavy desktop element. I was surprised to see that it comes with a small silver plate that can be engraved and attached to the base. The plate was very thin and not very strong. I took the plate to an engraver and they said it would be cheaper to just cut a piece out of my leaves than to use a watch plate. I did it like this instead and it worked fine. However, this is a quality product that is worth the money.
