Review on Oreck Commercial Upright Cleaner XL2100RHS by Tammy Hoeft

My mum owned an Oreck vacuum and it lasted for several years so I thought I would buy it too as I vacuum daily and because this particular model claims the title of Advertisement. I had high hopes that it would hold up to daily vacuuming but was very disappointed. The only thing that makes it commercial is the cable. Also, it doesn't stand up to daily vacuuming because it's cheaply made out of small screws that aren't strong enough to hold a long neck together without having to constantly tighten them, so has now been removed. Also, I have to constantly reattach the neck (base pipe connection) because over time it loosens and detaches from the head (main motor) of the vacuum just to blow dust everywhere. Part of the aluminum neck is bent (next to the handle) and I now have tape on the two parts of the neck to hold them together so I can vacuum. However, I have given up and will not buy another Oreck.
