All in all, this is a great and inexpensive way to replace worn out key fobs on a 2007 Mitsubishi (Outlander in my case). Our old key fob fell apart (a snap piece broke off after the last battery change). I was able to take the inside of an old key fob and put it in a new case. The local locksmith was able to cut it to fit the old key for less than $5. The dealer wanted $90 for a "genuine part," so I saved some money. Less than 5 full stars because the key blade is currently secure but there is only one small screw holding it in place so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time with repeated use in the car. For the price, though, it's worth a try.
