Review on Mudpuppy Baby'S First Words Flash Cards: A Fun Learning Game For Toddlers Ages 3 To 5 by Jamie Lewis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Too squiggly / artsy to be easily recognized. But most of them are great

Cute! Some of the images could be a little more realistic. Too squiggly / artsy to be easily recognized. But most of them are great, and at 20ish months he was able to go through and recognize almost all of them. We got them when he was 16 months old, the actual images held his attention for a short period of time at that age, but holding/ flipping through them provided a short distraction for an airplane ride (I wrapped them up as it was christmas time, and let him open it as a stocking stuffer on the plane ride. Figured between the wrapping paper, the box it came in, and the actual flash cards, it would keep him busy for a good amount of time (it did! especially the box lol).Minus one star for a couple of the images and for the flimsy ring that holds them together. A little rough play and they fly right off. No issues if I'm going through them with him but wish it was a metal ring or sturdier clasp.

Pros
  • They are specially designed to be engaging and fun for little ones
Cons
  • Not enough opportunities for children to explore language
