One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

I already have PS 1, 2, and 3, so let's go for 4. I debated between the Slim and the Pro for quite some time, seeing numerous side-by-side videos. Therefore, I concluded that the regular Slim is sufficient, and the difference is just 10 better put on gear, for my FHD TV and the inability to play shooters on the controller. I recently purchased a PS4 Slim because of the promotion "Time to play" (a discount on the console plus a gamepad as a gift), and I have no regrets. The games look great, run smoothly, and make an effect on the player, largely because of the high resolution (1080p) graphics and images. Worse yet, the silt from the myltso and drawdowns on PS3 is still present. Therefore, my recommendation is to pick Slim if you are not against economizing and are not a pedant of video games. Get the Pro (and VR on top of that, for which one and a half standard games) if you're a wealthy pedant. You can be a tightwad about finances, but be prepared to give up either cash or sanity. If the wealthy version is good enough for you, then go with that. And if you own a 4K TV, you really need the Pro version. To The Team! I checked out the remastered versions.

Pros

+ Sleek appearance; no smooth or shiny finishes. + The gamepad is excellent; it has a speaker, a touchpad, an LED, curved triggers, recessed analog sticks, and a bottom section made of plastic that feels like a soft touch but leaves no imprints. The degree of "seamlessness" in the software component is not poor but could be better.

Cons

Light friezes appear as you navigate the menus, and they always have something loaded nearby, whether it's PS Store items or service info. - Yes, and the menu structure might use some improvement as well. I prefer HMV on PS3 in this respect. - Games since the PS3 era cannot be manually organized. Oh, my. Not even an optical output. - There are only two USB ports, which is not enough. - Weird drive behavior: when playing installed games, the drive buzzes like an airplane once the game is started (in the game's menu or during playtime) and then stops after 10-20 minutes even if the load on it has increased theoretically. This makes it such that at first, you can't actually hear the game. - The DVR enters standby mode when its power switch is turned off. Hold for 7 seconds to turn off. - When I try to use the gamepad's Share and Options buttons, I end up using the touchpad instead. They had to be springy and stick out like they did on older controllers for this to work. - The LED can't be turned off, just its brightness adjusted.
