Lately I've been addicted to buying all stainless steel pots and pans. Usually when I receive a stainless steel item it is so shiny and new that you get a reflection of it. But this item looks like it was repaired or returned and polished by someone. Outside are scratches and black spots. Also scratches and patterned lines on the inside like someone cleaned it with a Brillo/SOS sponge or a buffing pad. This made it matte and not shiny. I'd like to think that since it's SS it doesn't affect the quality of the cooking, but I'm just a little disappointed. I assumed this product would come boxed straight from the factory. Maybe my issue was just an accident.
