This is an antenna extender; does what it's supposed to do with no visible degradation in signal quality. Reasonable build quality for the price. * I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU MEASURE THE DISTANCE REQUIRED BEFORE YOU BUY * I planned the cable routing in my head and figured I had an extra 8ft cable and a 4ft cable built into the antenna. I ended up having to take the shorter route (and much harder to hide) because I didn't actually measure physically. Not the fault of the product but my own. TL; The DR 8' is barely enough to fit in a larger sedan/SUV/wagon if your antenna is at the rear.
