I have bought other brands of charging cords and they all last about 6 months or so and then start to fail. Or they get frayed at the end that goes into the device. I bought these like a year ago, gave one to my Mom to use for her tablet, and stuck the other rolled up in my tablet case for when I travel with it. Both of these cords are still working excellently for us, and I just took out the third one last week to replace the cord in my bedroom for my phone, as that cord stopped working. I think I am just going to buy another set of these as a backup. I have been told that wrapping a cord up in a circle shortens it’s life, but I have not seen any indication of that happening with these cords. And none of them have frayed anywhere. My only wish is that they would charge a little faster or be more efficient - I think that is due to the longer length. if I am on Skype on my tablet and have some other apps open, then the tablet is using up power a little bit faster than the cord is charging, so it will show a drop in the percentage over time. But it hasn’t been a problem since I’m only Skyping for about 4 hours and I don’t lose power in that time. Just something to be aware of, and if your device is newer it may require more power. Just check your specs.
