I bought a gold plated 1" 3.5mm premium Sabrent aux cable to use in my 2014 Toyota Rav4 as it has a Has aux port next to the quiet area where my phone is (great design) and I didn't want the long extra cord to be visible. The black and blue matched my car's interior and the cable itself was very durable. It is highly unlikely that the cable will bend or break. The design, which allows for use in larger cases (my iPhone 5S has an Otterbox Defender case), worked well and provided a solid connection. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the black parts were next to the ends of the gold ones when it arrived. The tabs (which slide over the blue ends) were loose and not on the ends of the cable. I considered returning the product based on this, but having used other Sabrent products successfully in the past and knowing that they are good, I took a closer look and screwed on the black parts. The cable performs as expected and the ends are secure after some tweaking, but Sabrent should consider verifying the quality of this product during production.
