This is a pretty good glue gun, it comes with lots of glue sticks (clear, colored and glossy) and rubber fingertips so you don't burn yourself. I love finger guards, especially when gluing small parts to avoid burns. The glue gun needs to be plugged in, turned on and left for 5 minutes before it's ready. It has a large trigger as well as a plastic stand, but I didn't feel it would stand well. It's easy to use, but if you want to use glitter pens or colored pens, you won't be able to pick up a pen to make it transparent again. You must use up all of the glue before you can replace it. My other issue is that despite its strength, this glue is very sticky. You should expect strands of "glue hairs" to pull off whatever you've glued on, but these glue sticks seem to have very sticky strands that are difficult to pull off. All in all a good glue gun.
