I ordered this fan because I needed the fan urgently and was able to get same day delivery. The fan was easy to assemble (no tools needed), has a solid base so it doesn't move when swinging, moves enough air thanks to the reasonably quiet motor, and doesn't smell visually (looks almost like most desktop fans). fans of this basic design). The main downside for me is that the front grille snaps into place (instead of using elements that - like other fans I have - move back and forth over the edge of the grille as needed). The included cleaning instructions in the manual do not include steps for removing the front grille for cleaning, its absence implies that it is non-removable and may have been necessary as the fan is almost entirely plastic. Getting to the fan blades to clean the collected dust and dirt doesn't seem to work though. Hence the three stars.
