StarTech provides excellent customer service and technical support. I bought this to replace a dead Wi-Fi card in a MacBook Air. It works with El Capitan by downloading drivers from the StarTech website (you'll need another computer with internet access and a flash drive to transfer it, or an ethernet connection if like me you're using a computer without a CD drive ). and then it adds an icon to the top bar to replace the Mac's original internal Wi-Fi. Simple, and now I have fast internet again. The tech support rep easily helped me locate the drivers and walked me through the setup and installation.
