Review on Get The Perfect Western Look With AMAPO Mens Mid-Tube Cowboy Boots - Fashionable, Durable, And Comfortable! by Mike Calderon

Stylish, Fit well, Price, Coppery smell over time

At the time of writing this I have been wearing these boots for 2 months now. I'll be very detailed for those who prefer a bit more than "they're good" or "they're bad" in their reviews. I was pleasantly surprised upon opening them to see that they in fact matched the pictures. I was worried they wouldn't have that sort of folded, baggy, wrinkly leather look like in the pics, but rest assured they do, and I personally think it looks cool. I've worn them nearly every day since they arrived and while they haven't been punished, they have been fairly used. They arrived in the midst of a snow and ice storm, however they aren't great winter boots by any means, you will get snow in there! So they reluctantly survived the winter, being my only wearable boots but these are good for a biker look too with a leather jacket or sunglasses and buckles, plus they look fine with jeans tucked into them or without. First putting them on I actually found them to be pretty comfortable, luckily they slipped on like I was Cinderella, but they were different than my old boots which lace up the ankle a bit, so it took some getting used to the looseness around my scrawny ankles. Am I boring you? Well hang on, I've got a bit more. I work at a movie theater and even though boots aren't the first choice by many for running back and forth between auditoriums, up and down stairs all day, these boots really add a nice look to my work outfit that brings more to the table than my coworkers worn out sneakers while still being fairly comfortable (just not if you're in a rush). These aren't uncomfortable to me, however I can't speak for the average boot connoisseur, maybe they'd be a bit clunky or loose for you. I haven't had any problems with puddles or water spilling in, but I usually avoid water even if I'm in a scuba suit. Beware of stepping in dog poop, because the tread is pretty deep and you'll be scraping it out of there far longer than anyone should have to, and hosing it off is likely how you'll get water in them. My other boots lasted a month before the soles basically ejected, but these haven't come unglued anywhere yet. Lastly I'll end with my main complaint. Due to the buckles getting wet over time in rain and such, the boots have begun to smell a bit metallic, a lot like copper, but I've not properly cleaned them so I imagine a good cleaning and regular upkeep would help prevent the metallic odor. Overall I think they're a good pair of boots for the price, however I'm fairly new to the boot game, so I can't compare them to the higher quality $100-300+ boots. Hope this helped!
