Purchased March 2015 I used to have a 1 door fridge and was unhappy with the freezer compartment. A double door is what you need. Pros Freezer: Keeps ice cream frozen Freezes ice Lots of space Fridge: Big space Keeps all my groceries cold (e.g. water, cold drinks, milk, salad, pudding, jelly, cheese, mediation) Quiet Everything looks very nice Glass door - heavy accessible glasses caution - if you put food too far in the fridge they will freeze frost/ice in the freezer compartment/dripping on the back of the fridge (see tip below) Tip - frost/ice in the freezer compartment and dripping on the back of the fridge worked for me no problem. That's how I did it and it's worked great so far. I didn't even have to defrost. Once a week I use the scraper that comes with Midea to clean the freezer and then use a microfiber cloth to wipe away any ice particles. Only takes a few minutes. When I see drips accumulating on the back of the fridge, the same. I use a scraper to scrape off the drips and a microfiber cloth to wipe them off. When I received my Midea fridge it was packaged very well, there was a small dent on the back but it didn't look like a problem. After unboxing and setting it up, I let it sit for 24 hours before plugging it in to allow it to settle down after shipping. I'll try to remember to update it over time. This is my first review, I hope it helps someone.
