Review on Cooling Ge72 Ge62 Pe60 PAAD06015SL by Ricky Habbani

This replacement fits my MSI GE62 6QF perfectly. I had a damaged CPU fan so I decided to replace both of them. If you know how to disassemble a laptop, installation should be easy. After replacing the fans, I checked how fast they could spin and if they were recognized by the motherboard. This was recognized correctly and both fans were spinning at around 5500 rpm. The fans worked great for 2 weeks, but then the CPU fan stopped working. I could see it getting power for a second or two before completely shutting down. Manually adjusting the fan speed didn't turn it on. My GPU fan continued to run normally. When I asked for a replacement I was asked to return the defective part first, which I usually agreed to, but in this case the replacement would take an additional two weeks and I would not be able to use my computer that I use for work. I had to pay for a replacement (from a different brand) and since my return window had already expired I basically paid for two replacements. This product comes with 2 packs of thermal paste but I would recommend buying some of the well known brands.
