After A LOT of research, this was the one that had the best reviews and was the best price for what we wanted.Bought this for our 10 year old for her birthday. Bought with the intention that, if she ever grew out of her love of stars, it would be something my husband and I would keep around for ourselves, since we love space and stargazing.Love how sturdy it is and that it is easy to use. Having to use a table isnt terribly inconvenient because its easy to find a small camp table or outdoor patio table for not a lot of money that it can sit on. Shipped and arrived a day earlier than scheduled. Only downside i seenso far is, it doesn't collapse down any farther, so storage might be an issue if u dont have specific storage space for it.Got a wonderful look at the full moon that weekend! My husband and i saw Venus the next night! I wear glasses so we need to invest in the glasses friendly lenses, however it was very easy to look without my glasses and adjust the focus to my eye sight (which is severly nearsighted).Overall, i am very happy with my purchase. Had friends and family send us amazon giftcards via email to help pay for it (10 year olds can be hard to shop for) and made it very easy to give as a gift for someone younger.This model was out of stock when i originally went to buy it, and it is already out of stock again.that has got to tell u something!
