These gloves were advertised as waterproof and good for work down to -30. Not even close! I live in Wisconsin, where it's been terribly cold and snowing for the last three weeks. I got them and put them on a shovel and only blew off the snow at +3 with a frost of -15. Half an hour later my hands were icy and clammy because the gloves were covered by a snowstorm. After another 15 minutes my hands went from freezing cold to a very painful burning sensation (this is the first sign of frostbite). I had to go in to massage my hands to keep them a little warm. These gloves are utterly useless in these northern midwestern states with harsh winters. They returned the next day.
