I usually put a screen protector on my devices on the day of purchase. Over the years, I've preferred screen protectors that don't have a small cutout for the camera. Protective glass generally doesn't have a noticeable effect on the front camera, and I like the benefit of not having to try to clean dust out of the small camera cutout. a protective film for the screen to keep dust out. Sometimes I get lucky and find iPad screen protectors at the dollar store, but that's not going to happen with the recently released iPad mini. Dollar Store screen protectors are usually fine, but sometimes they have uneven adhesion, causing the edges to peel off after a week or so. This protector does not seem to have this problem and fits perfectly.
