The level of detail/search on Stella is phenomenal. Great. Listening to Fountains of Wayne right now, hearing new details in songs I've heard a thousand times. The air and space between the instruments is phenomenal. There are no hints of harshness or fatigue in the music, everything is very well placed and sounds 3D. The vocals are just amazing, crystal clear and very, very sincere. The vocals are very emphasized and sound very natural. soundstage. respectable? Not that wide, but it really depends on the mix. I have nothing to compare except with KZ Zs3. Stella seems to focus on depth rather than breadth. They really highlight the production work because they are crisp. Maybe I shouldn't say making production work stand out. This means you can hear it clearly, but it's not really noticeable. Overall, instrumentally everything is very well balanced. Nothing"pops up". All the details are there, nothing is hidden. Stella would be almost perfect if it wasn't for the anemic (similar) bass level. (Note: I used the smallest foam and then went down to the medium foam mentioned later in this review.) The sound is smooth and smooth. Not "exciting" or "in your face" at all. super soft The guitars could be more exciting and admittedly have a bit more "bite" but tonally everything is VERY accurate. Very easy to hear and nothing artificial. Very pleasant sound. Just don't listen to them to get pumped up and you'll be very, very happy. When you listen to these sounds, you appear to be between the first and middle rows of the auditorium. audience for them. The instruments could be a little closer to the listener. The music is about 3-5 steps away from the singing. Everything is audible in the mix, but a lot of things sound "distant" especially on the drums. Comfort level - A +. very comfortable, no hot spots or uncomfortable pressure in the ears, in general. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing them. UPDATE: On LH's advice, I replaced the smaller foam tips with medium-sized foam tips. The bass reproduction is noticeably improved. Still feel like it could be raised a notch or two, no more than three. But the medium sized foam helps a lot with the size of the bass.
