Choose these gloves because of the price. I was looking for a pair under $50 that was waterproof and warm to 30 degrees. These gloves did not disappoint, they proved themselves on a 12.5 mile hike in mid to high 20 degree weather. I also spilled water on it when trying to fill my Nalgene water bottle. The gloves appear to drain water. During the hike my hands were warm with wind speeds of 10 km/h. During my lunch break, I was able to grab trekking poles and touch pans. The only thing is, these gloves don't do well with pocket knives, keys, or phones when you're trying to pull them out of your pocket. The fingertips are a bit big but that's ok, I just wanted a pair to keep my hands warm when walking outdoors. I would recommend these gloves.
