We usually buy from Carters but have never come across soft rubber bands. Soft elastic and not too tight; these are perfect. We have found that panties with external elastics tend to shrink and shrink after 3-4 drying cycles. These did not have this problem and have even kept their colors to this day. No complaints from our 3yo. Happy child, happy parents!
