I got my new bread maker and kept cutting it so the last 2 pieces were raw and didn't fit in the toaster. I tried the cheapest plastic bread slicing guide and it was a piece of junk. When I finally broke down and bought this bamboo slicer guide I was very pleased with the results. The only thing I would change is the crumb tray. The sides of the crumb tray will get in the way when you reach the bottom of the disc. The slicer is more than I need for a pound and a half loaf, but it's great for bread made in a regular bakery. I leave it on the counter and cut it however I want. Very happy with this product.
