This dress is so comfortable and fits true to size, I purchased a small and medium and I'm 5'3" 137 lbs thicker in the midsection I kept the medium. If I had a thinner waste I could have gone with a small. The material is quality and very forgiving. It is not too thin just perfect. I wore it to an outdoor wedding with a jean jacket and boots.Gina G
