This product works for a short time but has several design flaws. First it needs an on/off switch. It hurts me to plug/unplug it every time I use it. Second, if you use it when it gets hot for a while. I need to upload/download large amounts of data. Transactions often take an hour or more, and it's inconvenient to be close to my computer so I can move my mouse every 15 minutes to keep the system running. (I don't have the ability to make specific system changes). The first time I left it on for just over half an hour and when I came back it was hot enough that I don't feel comfortable leaving it on for any length of time. I'll probably have to build something to keep it cool if I want to use it. I love simple things, but that suddenly became too complicated for me.
