I thought a larger scoop would be more convenient as I have a larger litter box so I don't have to scoop out my cat's poop as much. That's the good part; The wider and larger size really helps get more out of the litter box. The downside is that the quality of the plastic material is not that good. While I haven't had any issues with the stylus as some have discussed here, my issue is that the plastic edges tear when shoveling. The denser and thicker lumps are not too friendly. And I found that trying to chop it into smaller pieces or dig hard into the litter with a shovel resulted in it cracking. Also, as some say, the gaps between the stitches are too wide, so small lumps still pass through them. I went back to my smaller shovel; This is a minor inconvenience, but it gets the job done more efficiently and can handle the wear and tear of large lumps without breaking.
