If you use it a lot, replace the back cushion - it's cheap and attaches with 2 small threaded screws. I am generous with 4 stars. On the second day of our trip the block fell off and fell off. The metal frame is ok. The fit on my bike (2003 VStar 1100 Custom) wasn't overly precise, but I was able to use a vise to bend it slightly and get it working. The metal itself is quite strong and sturdy and I like that. Since many other sissy bars are twice as expensive and I don't travel that much, I decided to give this one a try. I need to find or make a replacement backrest - I may find something second hand on the trainer that will fit.
