Lamp exploded 192 days after installation, ie 12 days after warranty expired. I didn't think much about it at the time because I figured it was just a bad decision on my part to use a low quality lightbulb, but after installing a new lightbulb I realized how weak that lightbulb had been all along was . My new bulb seems to be 2x brighter and I think I never noticed it when I first installed it because in a few months we got used to the original 3 year old bulb.
