Why make small when you can make more?
After reading about the potential problems with cheaper filters I decided to only buy higher quality filters. This filter is twice the size of a standard Chevy filter. But it still doesn't protrude under my oil pan. I use a standard 6 liter pan. K&N is one of the top 2 filter brands. Even though many filters are made in the same factory (Champion Labs), each brand offers its own unique design.
