This item is great for hiding excess decorative pillows/duvets/jeans/plaids/dropped clothes. They call it! I read some comments about it not having/holding shape so I solved this problem with cardboard and tape. Cut off some of the "extra" mattress topper when I cut mine from the queen to fit the full one and put it on the "bottom" when I stuffed the pouf for a softer feel. Please note that the bottom of the stool when you fill it is the top of the stool when you finish filling and you need to turn it over to use. See attached photos. I bought this as a footstool for my papasan. I will update the photos when I get my papasan (which I bought at Walmart).
