I really like this helmet. I searched the market for a three quarter helmet and tried a few before settling on this one. The fit is very comfortable and not as limiting as I thought after 7 years of wearing a half helmet. The overall quality is excellent. The fold down visor is perfect and the face shield is very comfortable. If you're used to wearing a DOT-approved full-face helmet, it may take some time to get used to this helmet. It lets in more air and sounds louder. However, compared to my half helmet, this thing is like a library. There's some noise, but it's not like the noise you get from half a helmet. I originally bought a Bell Rogue helmet but just didn't like the fit. The Large was a little small and the XL was too big. The rogue shield was right up my nose, which was pretty annoying, but that's not a rogue review. Just wanted to point out that I have tried other similar helmets and this one is much better for me. This helmet can be worn as a half helmet but looks ridiculous. NEVER buy this helmet as a half helmet because you will not be happy. I will definitely keep this helmet. In addition to excellent quality and comfort, it also looks great. My wife and sons went crazy when I put it on. I'm sure other people think it's cool too, but I don't pay that much attention to people's reactions when I'm on horseback. Try it and see if you like it.
